Review BYD Atto 1 Specifications, an LCGC-Priced Electric Car

KatadataOTO – BYD Atto 1 launched domestically at the GIIAS 2025 event with a competitive price tag. The EV caused a stir at the exhibition with its revealed price.

Its lowest type, the Dynamic, is offered at around Rp 195 million. This rivals the price of low-cost green cars (LCGC) like the Honda Brio Satya.

BYD revealed that a series of advantages are embedded in the BYD Atto 1, making it a worthy affordable electric car alternative to consider.

In terms of design, the BYD Atto 1 is claimed to be suitable for driving in Indonesia. Because of its compact size, it is easy to maneuver, especially when navigating narrow roads.

The L x W x H dimensions of the BYD Atto 1 are 3,952 mm x 1,720 mm x 1,590 mm, while its wheelbase is 2,500 mm.

Not just in terms of function, the BYD Atto 1 is wrapped in a stylish look with crossover-style accents, making it look sportier than other cars in the same class.

“At the front, if you look at the bumper, there's a windbreaker. LED headlight, the lever in the car for turning on the lights has an automatic feature. In dark conditions, the lights can turn on automatically,” said Bobby Bharata, Head of Product at PT BYD Motor Indonesia (BMI) in Tangerang.

Its design is also claimed to be different from most compact electric cars in Indonesia today. The front of the BYD Atto 1 has a sportier impression, at a glance having headlights identical to a Lamborghini sportscar.
