Xpeng G6 Electric Car Specifications Coming to Indonesia

KatadataOTO – Chinese manufacturer, Xpeng will officially enter the Indonesian market in early March 2025. To start, two products will be offered: the X9 MPV and the Xpeng G6 SUV coupe.

It should be noted that Xpeng is entering under the auspices of Erajaya Active Lifestyle as the APM (Brand Holder Agent). Its target consumers are premium car users.

However, the price range for these two models is not yet known. But it is confirmed that both the X9 and G6 will be assembled at the facility owned by PT HIM (Handal Indonesia Motor) in Purwakarta starting mid-year.

“We cannot yet disclose the production capacity and price, as they are still being calculated,” said Djohan Sutanto, CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle in Jakarta some time ago.

The Xpeng G6 will enter Indonesia as a premium electric car with dimensions of L x W x H at 4,753 mm x 1,920 mm x 1,650 mm.

This is slightly smaller compared to a similar model, the Hyptec HT, which measures 4,935 mm x 1,920 mm x 1,700 mm.

Looking at the Xpeng G6 specifications marketed in Thailand, two variants are offered: RWD Standard Range and RWD Long Range. Meanwhile, in the global market, an all-wheel drive (AWD) option is available.
