KatadataOTO – DJKA (Directorate General of Railways) is not to be outdone in pampering travelers for Eid 2025. They have prepared various programs.
One of them is free motorcycle transport, which the public can take advantage of.
“As one of DJKA's annual flagship programs, the Free Motorcycle Program (Motis) in 2025 provides a quota for 7,424 two-wheeled vehicles,” said Risal Wasal, Director General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation, to Antara on Monday (10/03).
Not only that, they have also prepared a free homecoming travel quota for up to 16,960 people for the 2025 Eid homecoming season.
This is being done to make it easier for people traveling to their hometowns by train, and to reduce the use of two-wheeled vehicles during the homecoming.
“Therefore, people who participate in this program will have the facility to have their motorcycles transported by train to their destination,” he continued.
He further explained that the mechanism, travel routes, and registration requirements have not changed much.
It's still the same as in previous years. Therefore, the public is encouraged to participate in the free motorcycle shipping program for Eid 2025.
For your information, registration has been open since March 8, 2025, and will close on April 7, 2025.
The program will run for eight days, with the homecoming departure schedule from March 26-29, 2025.
Meanwhile, departures for the return flow will be from April 4-6, 2025, so that people can return from their hometowns cheaply, safely, comfortably, and securely.
For those interested in the free motorcycle shipping, you can register online via the Nusantara.kemenhub.go.id website. You can also register in person at Bekasi, Depok Baru, Tangerang, or Cibinong stations.
