KatadataOTO – Towards the end of the year, the new motorcycle market is showing positive performance. In October 2025, it experienced a fairly rapid increase.

Reporting from the official website of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) on Tuesday (11/11), the distribution of new two-wheeled vehicles from factories to dealers (wholesales) in the domestic market reached 590,362 units.

If observed, the figure above grew by about 4.09 percent. This is because in September 2025, it was only at the level of 567,173 units.

Last month's achievement was also the highest so far in the 2025 period. A positive note for Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and TVS.

This is because these two-wheeled vehicle manufacturers were able to stimulate the new motorcycle market in the country.

Positive performance was also seen in the export market. As it experienced an 11.57 percent increase from September 2025.

AISI recorded that in October 2025, new motorcycle wholesales for the export market were at 49,009 units. Meanwhile, the previous month was only 43,926 units.

Meanwhile, if the new motorcycle wholesales in the domestic market are totaled, they recorded a figure of 5,427,253 units from January to October 2025.

The number above also increased by 0.23 percent when compared to the same period. Considering that in 2024 it was only around 5,415,901 units.

The Success of IMOS 2025 Brings Positive Impact

On the other hand, last month's excellent achievement is certainly inseparable from the IMOS 2025 event. Because it is claimed to be able to stimulate the market.

Moreover, at the exhibition which took place from September 24-28, 2025, there were various interesting things. Such as new products being displayed.

Then, visitors had the opportunity to get year-end programs. Such as discounts to tenor reductions.

Not to forget, the number of visitors at IMOS 2025 reached 103,789 people. An increase from 98,791 people at the 2024 event.

The realization of new motorcycle purchases at IMOS 2025 was only felt in October 2025. Because the delivery of vehicles to consumers' homes was done last month.
