Alternative Routes for New Year's Eve 2026

• Vehicles from the east heading west will be diverted via Jalan Galunggung and are advised to avoid Jalan Sudirman–MH Thamrin.
• Vehicles from the south heading east will be diverted via Jalan Tendean, then continue to MT Haryono.
• Vehicles from the north (Kota and Harmoni) and vehicles from Jalan Gajah Mada–Hayam Wuruk will be directed to turn back.
• Gajah Mada–Hayam Wuruk diversion scheme: traffic will be diverted to Jalan Juanda, then Suryopranoto, continuing to Balikpapan until Tomang. From Tomang, vehicles can head to Jalan S. Parman and vice versa.
• Access for Bendungan Hilir (Benhil) residents: residents can still head towards East Jakarta via the Karet route.
• Access for Dukuh Atas residents: vehicles can enter through the Dukuh Atas landmark area, continue to Kasablanka, towards East Jakarta and Kampung Melayu.
