List of 5 Mobile Driving License Locations in Jakarta Today, January 9, 2025

KatadataOTO – The Jakarta Mobile SIM service is an option for people who want to manage their driving documents. This is because the Polda Metro Jaya has deployed them in five different locations today, Thursday (9/1)

Drivers can choose one of the five Jakarta Mobile SIM locations. So there is no need to visit the Satpas office.

Quoting the @tmcpoldametro Instagram account, the Jakarta Mobile SIM schedule starts from 08.00-14.00 WIB. Residents can arrive earlier to avoid queues.

A solution for those of you who are busy or don't have much time. This is because the entire SIM renewal process is carried out in one strategic location.

People just need to visit one of today's Jakarta Mobile SIM locations, such as at the Lapangan Banteng Post Office. Then register at the provided counter.

It should be noted that a SIM is only valid for five years from the date of issuance. You must not be late in renewing this card-shaped driving document.

If it is missed by even one day, then people are required to follow the SIM issuance process at Satpas Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

The provision above is stated in the National Police Chief Regulation number 5 of 2021 article 4. Furthermore, Law number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation article 85 paragraph 2.

However, renewing a SIM's validity period cannot be done just like that. There are steps and requirements that need to be noted and brought.

• Health check results
• Proof of psychological test
