KatadataOTO – In the new year 2026, Pertamina announced the latest fuel oil (BBM) prices, as several products have seen a price drop.

As seen in Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel types. In early January 2026, the Pertamax series underwent an adjustment.

Quoting from Pertamina's official website on Wednesday (01/01), the price of Pertamax RON 92 at the beginning of the year became Rp 12,350 per liter. Whereas at the end of last year it was sold for Rp 12,750 per liter.

Meanwhile, Pertamax Green is priced at Rp 13,150 per liter. Down from the previous Rp 13,500 per liter.

Then, the price of Pertamax Turbo is Rp 13,400 per liter. Last month, the public bought it for around Rp 13,750 per liter.

On the other hand, a price revision also occurred for Dexlite. From the original Rp 14,700 per liter to Rp 13,400 per liter.

Pertamina Dex was also not exempt from adjustments at the beginning of the year. It is now traded at Rp 13,600 per liter, down from Rp 15,000 per liter in December 2025.

On the other hand, subsidized fuel prices were observed to be stable in the new year 2026. Pertalite is still offered at Rp 10,000 per liter.

Meanwhile, for subsidized diesel, Pertamina sells it at Rp 6,800 per liter in January 2026.

“The adjustment of general fuel oil (BBM) prices is in the context of implementing the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kepmen ESDM) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Kepmen No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Base Price Formula for the Calculation of Retail Selling Prices for General Fuel Oil Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil distributed through Public Fuel Filling Stations,” reads the Pertamina announcement.

It should be noted that the fuel price decrease above only applies to the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) area.
