How to Renew a SIM

Please note that the Jakarta mobile SIM service only accepts valid driving documents. If it is overdue by even a single day, you are required to go through the issuance process from the beginning.

• Register upon arrival at the Jakarta Mobile SIM location.
• Fill out the form provided by the officer with your personal data.
• Then, after the form and documents are all filled out, submit them.
• Wait in line to be called by the officer.
• Once your name is called, you can enter the officer's vehicle to undergo the test.
• Finally, you will have your photo taken for the new driver's license.

SIM Renewal Fees 2024

Meanwhile, the fee for renewing a SIM A, according to Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, is Rp 80,000. Then, for category C, the fee is just Rp 75,000.

It should be noted that the amounts above will increase because applicants are required to undergo a health check and a psychological test. These have fees of Rp 35,000 and Rp 60,000, respectively.
