“The engineering activities will be adjusted according to the ongoing field work conditions,” said Syafrin Liputo, Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, in an official statement on Monday (17/11).

According to Syafrin, traffic engineering on a number of roads in South Jakarta is very necessary. So that there are no long traffic jams every morning and evening.

Syafrin explained that the Jacking pipe work, phase 1 Pit STA 0+087 on Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, West Side of Sespolwan, has been underway since September 26.

The work is expected to be completed on December 31, 2025. Therefore, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency is making geometric adjustments to the road median to optimize traffic lanes.

Meanwhile, the Pit STA 1+475 location on Jalan T.B. Simatupang, North Side (FedEx intersection) after the East-East U-turn, has been under construction since October 17. It is expected to be completed this coming December 31.

Then, the phased excavation work for segment 2A STA 2+000 to STA 2+400 is located in the road median or the middle of Jalan TB Simatupang.

The project has been underway since October 17. The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency estimates it will be completed on December 15, 2025.

"At this location, the work is carried out partially in shifts at night, so that it can be passed by vehicles in the morning," Syafrin continued.

As for segment 2B, STA 2+400 to STA 2+800, the work has been carried out since September 26 and is expected to be completed on November 30.
