10 Best-Selling Electric Cars in November 2025, Jaecoo Enters Top Three

KatadataOTO – Sales of electric cars in November 2025 for various models tended to decline. However, in the first position, the BYD Atto 1 still leads with 8,333 units sold.

Referring to Gaikindo data, the Jaecoo J5 EV began to be distributed to dealers in November 2025. The model contributed 653 units to Jaecoo's wholesales (distribution from factory to dealer).

Then in third place, the electric-powered Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) BYD M6 delivered 567 units to dealers.

In the top 10, there are a total of four BYD models. Besides the Atto 1 and M6, there are also the Sealion 7 with 275 units and the Atto 3 with 256 units.

The GAC Aion V contributed 339 units in October. However, in November 2025, the figure dropped by 20.9 percent to 269 units.

Cumulatively, electric car wholesales in Indonesia as of November 2025 were 12,416 units, a decrease of 10.4 percent from October.

However, retail sales, or distribution from dealers to consumers, actually recorded positive results, increasing by 6.1 percent from October to 79,310 units.

Towards the end of the year, various manufacturers are preparing promos or sales programs to attract more consumers.

Ease of credit is also a priority. Considering many buyers make transactions on credit or in installments.

Recently, Astra Group held the Astra Auto Fest exhibition in BSD City, Tangerang. There, consumers were also presented with the latest electric car models from Toyota, such as the Urban Cruiser and the locally assembled bZ4X.

Meanwhile, the luxury car brand BMW will prepare a standalone exhibition featuring the complete vehicle lineup from BMW, Mini, and BMW Motorrad motorcycles.
