3 Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid units delivered to consumers at GJAW 2025

PT ADM (Astra Daihatsu Motor) showed its appreciation to consumers. They symbolically handed over the first 3 units of the Rocky Hybrid.

The Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid was first launched at GIIAS 2025. Since its official debut, it is said that vehicle orders have reached hundreds of people.

Using a series hybrid system, the Daihatsu Rocky offers an electric car-like driving sensation. Because the unit only relies on the electric motor to move.

Meanwhile, the vehicle's battery is supplied with power by a 1.2L combustion engine with the code WA-VEX. As a result, the gasoline engine functions as a generator.

Consumers no longer need to wait long when charging. Because the car still refuels with gasoline quickly at the gas station.

More interestingly, the fuel consumption of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is quite efficient. It is even able to exceed the fuel efficiency of other hybrid cars in its class.

The efficiency of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is claimed to reach 34.8 km/L. This figure was obtained using the JC08 test method in Japan.

Then, the Rocky Hybrid's emissions are also claimed to be the lowest in its class. It is mentioned that this compact SUV produces only 83 grams of CO2/km.

Besides being superior in terms of efficiency, the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid can also be relied on for performance. To go from 0 – 100 km/h, it only takes about 10 seconds.
