Affordable SUV Prices April 2025, Daihatsu Rocky Starts from Rp 212 Million

KatadataOTO – There are still many affordable SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) options to consider, if you are interested in a high-capacity vehicle like an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) but with a sporty look.

The selection of affordable 5-seater SUVs has now grown, with the Chery Tiggo Cross, which is the successor to the Tiggo 5X. As of April 2025, its price is still maintained from March, starting from 249.5 million.

Based on KatadataOTO's search today, Friday (11/04), manufacturers have not yet made any price adjustments to their affordable SUV product lines. The figures range from the Rp 200 millions to over Rp 300 millions.

Of all the models offered, the Daihatsu Rocky is the most affordable at Rp 212 million for the lowest trim. Another product with a similar price is the Wuling Alvez at Rp 217 million.

Meanwhile, if you are interested in an affordable SUV with larger dimensions and a 7-seater configuration, the choices are varied, such as the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, Hyundai Stargazer X, and Chery Tiggo 8.

There are also cars equipped with hybrid technology, which is claimed to make fuel consumption more efficient or economical. Examples include the Ertiga Cruise Hybrid and XL7 Hybrid.

Interestingly, Suzuki's hybrid car lineup has now received an incentive in the form of a three percent VAT (Value Added Tax) reduction. So, their prices are becoming more competitive.
