KatadataOTO – The electric car Aion UT will be launched in Indonesia soon. Although it has not been officially marketed yet, KatadataOTO had the opportunity to take a closer look at the unit.

The Aion UT targets family consumers who travel in urban areas. Its passenger capacity is five people.

The model will later fill the segment below the Y Plus. Thus, in terms of price, it is believed to be more competitive, in the range of IDR 200 million to IDR 300 million OTR (On The Road) Jakarta.

In terms of exterior, at a glance, its posture is similar to the BYD Dolphin electric car. However, the size of its headlights is smaller, and the unique DRL (Daytime Running Light) design reinforces the Aion UT's identity.

The Aion UT's design does not feature too many ornaments or bodykit components. The car's fascia appears minimalist, with an emblem that reads "Aion" in the front center area.

However, there is a sporty nuance it aims to show through the use of 17-inch dual-tone wheels.

Consumers can also choose a unique two-tone color combination such as Velvet Red/White and Emerald Green/White on the highest type, the Premium.

Moving to the interior, the dashboard and center console are clean without the presence of feature buttons. Like the majority of the latest cars, vehicle feature controls are delegated to the head unit.
