KatadataOTO – Aion V is claimed to have received a positive reception from consumers in Indonesia. It is said to have successfully collected hundreds of SPK (Vehicle Order Letters).
Aion Indonesia also plans to start delivering this electric car to consumers' garages in the near future.
“Starting in March, we will have deliveries (of the Aion V), but the quantity will not be too large,” said Andry Ciu, CEO of Aion Indonesia in Yogyakarta some time ago.
According to Andry, this is being done so that buyers do not have to wait too long to receive the units they have ordered.
“Then we will fulfill the previous orders from April to May,” Andry continued.
This way, it is hoped that consumers can soon use the EV (Electric Vehicle) from the Chinese manufacturer.
Moreover, in the same month, the Aion V will begin to be locally assembled at their factory in Dawuan, Cikampek, West Java.
“Starting March 2025, but that's just a trial. Then it will ramp up, production cannot be high immediately but will slowly increase,” he said.
Then, the price announcement for the Aion V will also be made soon, specifically at the IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 event.
Andry confirmed that their EV will be sold for less, compared to the estimated price at GJAW 2024.
“Under or below IDR 499 million, we have decided. It will not be the same as the Aion Hyptec HT, which has a fixed price,’” he asserted.
He also hopes that the Aion V will be better received by the public in the country, thereby increasing sales.
Consumers who intend to purchase the Aion V can submit a booking fee of just IDR 5 million to the sales staff.
For your information, this electric car offers various modern features, such as eight-point massage seats.
Furthermore, there is a box in the center console whose temperature can be adjusted from -15 degrees to 50 degrees.
Passengers can also heat up or cool down food or drinks during the journey.
It is also equipped with a 14.6-inch entertainment screen. It can display several features such as media, navigation, and all vehicle settings.
As for the powertrain, the Aion V is equipped with a 72.3 kWh capacity battery. It is claimed to offer a range of up to 600 km on a single charge.
