KatadataOTO – The electric MPV challenger to the BYD M6, the Aletra L8 EV, was introduced in a new variant at the GIIAS 2025 event.

This time, Aletra launched a new type with a three-row, 8-seater configuration to accommodate up to eight passengers in the car's cabin.

For your information, Aletra first appeared in the country through the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2024 automotive exhibition.

Also present with the 8-seater variant is an additional bodykit option, the Aero Line, which makes the Aletra L8 EV look sportier and more dashing.

“The newest Aletra L8 variant is specially designed for consumers who want seating flexibility without having to compromise on driving comfort,” said Christo Antyo, Product  Manager of Aletra in Tangerang, Wednesday (23/07).

Furthermore, Aletra revealed that the vehicle lineup is already available for order for interested consumers.

To increase consumer confidence in buying an Aletra electric car, the brand has started opening a dealer network in the Capital City and other regions.

“We are moving quickly to build two showrooms, and then collaborating with dealers in places like Bandung, Pekanbaru, Surabaya, and Bali,” said Andre Jodjana, CEO of Aletra, on the same occasion.

For interested consumers, the price of the Aletra L8 EV is the same as the 7-seater captain seat variant, at around IDR 468 million.

With that price tag, Aletra L8 EV owners will also get other facilities such as a wall charger. So, Aletra electric car users can charge their vehicles at home.

“We hope Aletra can become the primary choice for a family electric vehicle in Indonesia by presenting a comfortable, clean, efficient, and environmentally friendly mobility solution,” he affirmed.

During the GIIAS 2025 event, consumers can enjoy various after-sales services such as an eight-year or 500,000-kilometer warranty for the battery.

Then for the EV (Electric Vehicle) system, there is a warranty for eight years (150,000 kilometers), six years or 100,000 kilometers specifically for the vehicle, and three years of free maintenance costs.

Not only that, there is also a road assistance service that can be enjoyed for free by Aletra L8 EV users.

All these warranties can be transferred to the next owner, making it a special attraction for people who want to purchase the Aletra L8 electric car.
