KatadataOTO – PT Indomobil National Distributor, the official brand holder for Citroën, is using the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 to introduce a new product. They went all out, bringing the All-New Basalt and Basalt Dark Edition as their flagships.
Both come with various advantages, and their comfort can be seen and felt throughout the exhibition. This is certainly important for attracting visitor interest during the event.
“Our participation in GIIAS 2025 is a moment for Citroën to interact directly with customers and listen to their feedback,” said Tan Kim Piauw, CEO of PT Indomobil National Distributor.
The All-New Basalt is the star of the booth themed “Crafted for Comfort”. Presented as a sporty SUV Coupé, this car is designed to meet the mobility needs of urban communities, combining the sleek style of a coupé, the practicality of an SUV, and the driving comfort of a Citroën.
Its dimensions are also quite compact at 4,352 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, and 1,593 mm in height. Thanks to this, the car can remain comfortable when navigating dense urban traffic.
Its interior creates a calm atmosphere with modern features to support daily driving comfort. Presented as a limited edition, the Basalt offers an exclusive experience for automotive enthusiasts seeking a different style and unique character in their drive.
The Citroen Basalt's performance is supported by a 1,200 cc three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
For the undercarriage, the SUV coupe uses 205/60 tires with 16-inch wheels. The suspension used is a MacPherson Strut with Coil Spring at the front and a Rear Twist Beam with Coil Spring at the rear.
Citroën not only offers products but also peace of mind for customers during their vehicle ownership. One way is by strengthening after-sales services throughout Indonesia.
Various conveniences are offered, from standard and extended warranties, 24-hour emergency services, to a more practical servicing process through online booking. Citroën also presents a special program, ‘Part Availability 1x24 Hours or Free,’ to guarantee the availability of spare parts within a maximum of 1x24 hours at official workshops.
This program applies to 104 types of spare parts, including wipers, headlamps, front bumpers, and others.
