KatadataOTO – UD Trucks concludes 2025 with a series of innovations. This is done to meet the needs of Indonesian transportation.

It is said that the transportation sector in the country desires efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

As was done at the GIIAS 2025 event. UD Trucks Indonesia presented a driver safety education program.

“Safety is not just about technology, but also about habits. This year, we are strengthening our commitment to empower drivers,” said Handi Lim, Vice President Director, Marketing & After Sales Service Director of UD Trucks Indonesia in Jakarta (15/12).

It was further stated that improving driver quality is UD Trucks' biggest investment.

Especially to face the demands of the modern industry like today.

Through this educational program, drivers are given experience in braking techniques, fatigue management, daily vehicle inspections, and the use of technology such as ESCOT and my UD Fleet.

So that drivers can be more disciplined and efficient in their journeys.

The major achievement for the Japanese brand in 2025 is the launch of the new Kuzer SKE 150. Its newest product targets the light-duty truck segment.

The new Kuzer SKE 150 is equipped with a Euro 4 engine featuring EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) technology. It also has a DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) to provide performance, fuel efficiency, and low emissions.

The development of the new Kuzer is said to have undergone in-depth research. Thus, it is able to meet operational needs in the field.

Equipped with an ergonomic cabin and better visibility, it is believed to reduce driver fatigue.

The Kuzer full maintenance package is prepared to minimize the risk of downtime. It is also supported by the single ID-based Astra UD Trucks service network.

This makes fleet management more flexible and creates efficiency.

He said that the future of transportation in the country is built on a combination of technology, partnership, and the courage to change.

Welcoming 2026, UD Trucks will focus on what has been done this year, in addition to further expanding the development of low-emission vehicles.
