KatadataOTO – The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has again seized a number of pieces of evidence in the alleged bribery case of the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Jakpus). This was done after searching the suspects' homes since Saturday (12/04).
AGO investigators took a number of items from the home of suspect MAN (Muhammad Arif Nuryanta). For example, 40 Singapore dollar banknotes in 1,000 denominations and 125 United States dollar banknotes in 100 denominations.
Then they also confiscated 10 Singapore dollar banknotes in 100 denominations and 74 Singapore dollar banknotes in 50 denominations from the residence of AR (Ariyanto).
Besides money, AGO investigators again seized a number of luxury cars of various brands from AR's house.
“Three car units have been confiscated, consisting of one Toyota Land Cruiser and two Land Rovers,” said Abdul Qohar, Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes or Jampidsus, to Antara on Monday (14/04).
The three four-wheeled vehicles above add to the several luxury cars previously seized by the AGO on Saturday (12/04).
Take for example the Ferrari Spider, Nissan GTR, Lexus RX Series, and Mercedes-Benz G63 from AR's house.
“The Jampidsus investigation team conducted searches in three provinces, namely Central Java, West Java, and Jakarta,” Qohar continued.
Qohar also emphasized that investigators plan to continue searching a number of locations and tracing the suspects' assets.
So it is very likely that there are still several pieces of evidence that they will confiscate from the residences of the suspects in the alleged Central Jakarta District Court bribery, related to the acquittal verdict in the corruption case of providing CPO (Crude Palm Oil) export facilities.
“What will the results be like? We will announce it at another time,” said Qohar
As a reminder, the AGO did not only seize luxury cars. They also took 21 motorcycles from the suspects' homes.
All of the two-wheeled vehicles arrived at the AGO building using three tow trucks on Sunday (13/04) afternoon.
The dozens of luxury motorcycles consist of various brands. Such as Harley Davidson, Triumph, Vespa, Italjet, BMW, and Norton.
It didn't stop there, they also confiscated seven bicycle units, including BMC and Lynskey.
“Later it will be conveyed comprehensively from whom, then the ownership because the evidence obtained is not just this,” said Agung Harli Siregar, Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center on a separate occasion.
