KatadataOTO – BYD Atto 1 is present at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 as a new star in the electric vehicle segment. Coming with the tagline 'Energy in Motion', it is ready to support the mobility of the community, especially the younger generation in urban areas.

This is because the car is compact, allowing it to be agile in maneuvering to meet the needs of the younger generation. The car has a recorded length of 3,925 mm, a width of 1,720 mm, a height of 1,590 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,500 mm.

Not just in dimensions, the BYD Atto 1 is designed to have a sharp yet functional appearance. The car is equipped with LED headlamps and DRLs that support visibility in various light conditions, as well as 16-inch alloy wheels.

To ensure drivers can confidently navigate various situations, the BYD Atto 1 is equipped with a ground clearance of 155 mm. The car is also equipped with a rear fog lamp to help maintain visibility for other drivers behind in rainy or foggy conditions.

Entering the cabin, the BYD Atto 1 is equipped with soft-touch materials on all rows of seats. Interestingly, the top variant includes an electric driver's seat feature, making it easier for the driver to find a comfortable seating position.

To make it easier for the driver to know the vehicle's condition, BYD has installed a 7-inch digital instrument panel that displays various important information.

Then there is also a 10.1-inch touchscreen head unit that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This feature is connected to four speakers for clearer audio.

Despite its competitive price, the BYD Atto 1 is equipped with a number of safety features. Starting from six airbags, ISOFIX, to a seat belt reminder system. The unit is also equipped with an Electric Parking Brake (EPB), auto brake hold, and dual disc brakes.

In addition, the car is equipped with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) which makes it easy for the driver to always know the tire pressure condition. Thanks to this, the potential for accidents due to low pressure can be minimized.

The BYD Atto 1 is also equipped with a Blade Battery with capacities of 30.08 kWh and 38.88 kWh. This power is sufficient for it to travel distances of 300 km and 380 km.

That power is then channeled to an electric motor with 73 hp and 135 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 4.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 130 km per hour.

To make it easier for owners to know the vehicle's condition, the manufacturer has prepared the BYD Apps application. With this, the battery status, mileage, and other features can be monitored in real-time directly from a smartphone.

Not to forget the Vehicle-to-Load (VtoL) feature, which provides extra flexibility to use the vehicle's power for various outdoor and emergency activities.
