Cars You Can't Touch at IIMS 2025

KatadataOTO – The IIMS 2025 exhibition has been running since last week. The event presents a number of the latest cars and motorcycles from many manufacturers in Indonesia.

Not only that, various automotive supporting industries are also on display. Providing a treat for exhibition visitors.

The IIMS 2025 event itself takes place before the Eid holiday. Making it the right time to buy a new car or motorcycle.

However, at the aforementioned automotive exhibition, not all cars can be purchased by visitors. There are even models that cannot be touched at all.

Here are the cars at IIMS that cannot be touched

1. Suzuki eWX

Arriving with the status of a concept car, the Suzuki eWX is present on the main stage of the Suzuki booth in Hall A1 JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

The arrival of this vehicle is claimed to be its debut in Southeast Asia. It is also part of Suzuki's multi-pathway strategy in achieving carbon neutrality.

“eWX is a manifestation of Suzuki's vision in creating functional sustainable electric vehicles. Our goal in displaying the eWX is so that the public can better understand Suzuki's contribution to creating greener mobility solutions,” said Minoru Amano, President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) in an official statement (13/02).

The Suzuki eWX features a simple yet dynamic boxy look. Its compact car shape makes it an agile vehicle in urban areas.

In terms of dimensions, the Suzuki eWX has a length of 3,395 mm, a width of 1,475 mm, and a height of 1,620 mm. The specifications above are similar to the legendary Suzuki Jimny 5 Door.

Prepared as an electric car, it is believed the vehicle can travel up to 230 km on a single charge.

2. Wuling Concept Car Light of Asean

On display at the IIMS 2025 event, the Wuling Light of Asean is being exhibited outside of China for the first time. Making it a special attraction for visitors.

It represents Wuling's vision in presenting smart and sustainable electric vehicle innovations. It also serves as proof that the ASEAN market plays a strategic role for them.

This five-diamond logo concept model is equipped with a futuristic appearance like a sports car. It also uses wing-style doors, commonly called gullwing doors.
