KatadataOTO – Chinese electric car manufacturer, Changan, once again shows its innovation in the automotive world. Their latest product, the Deepal L07, will launch on November 18, 2025.

The Changan Deepal L06 becomes a new option for consumers who want to use an electric-powered sedan. However, one thing is claimed to be the main differentiator from its competitors.

Reported by Carnewschina, the Changan Deepal L06 electric car is embedded with a magnetic suspension system, MagneRide from BWI Group.

MagneRide suspension is known to be used in various other luxury car lines such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Cadillac.

MagneRide is one of the main keys to providing the best handling while still offering the comfort typical of a premium car.

Speaking of design, the Changan Deepal L06 is designed with a sporty concept with dimensions of 4,830 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, as well as a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.

As a rough comparison, its size is almost similar to the electric sedan already marketed in Indonesia, the BYD Seal.

The BYD Seal has dimensions of 4,800 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm.

However, there is an additional fairly large spoiler on the rear of the Changan Deepal L06, which becomes a distinctive feature when compared to the BYD Seal.

Entering the cabin, the Changan Deepal L06 uses more than 90 percent soft-touch materials to reinforce the luxurious impression.

Then, the steering wheel is a three-spoke style, the head unit is 15.6 inches, and there is 256-color ambient lighting.

Its safety system is also equipped with a LiDAR sensor, available for all variants from the highest to the lowest.

The Changan Deepal L06 is offered in a pure electric option that provides a range of 670 km (CLTC testing method) as well as an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) equipped with a 1,500 cc engine and a 28.39 kWh battery.

Considering Changan intends to bring several new models to Indonesia, the Deepal L06 has the potential to be one of them.

Especially seeing the interest in electric sedans starting to increase since the presence of the BYD Seal in the country since 2024.

The Changan Deepal L06 is marketed at a price of 134,900 yuan to 156,900 yuan, equivalent to Rp 317.6 million-Rp 369.4 million in rupiah.
