KatadataOTO – Electric cars are confirmed to once again receive subsidies from the government, specifically for models that meet the requirements. Previously in February 2025, a number of brands were forced to raise prices due to uncertainty.

For example, Hyundai, last month almost all of its electric car types saw price increases of tens of millions. However, at the time, PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) asserted that consumers would still receive relief after the official policy is implemented.

Then, after IIMS 2025, a number of new official models were introduced. BYD (Build Your Dreams) brought in the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) version of the Seal, the Sealion 7, which is sold at a price point not much different from its sedan counterpart.

Another Chinese manufacturer, Geely, also brought its newest model, the EX5, to the exhibition. Then, the Honri Boma EV electric car became one of the affordable EV (Electric Vehicle) options, priced at around Rp 199 million.

Based on KatadataOTO's findings, the prices of almost all models have tended to be stable. Some that saw price increases include the Hyptec HT Ultra, Ioniq 5 Batik, MG ZS EV and Cyberster, and the BMW i7 xDrive60.

Meanwhile, Wuling lowered the price of its BinguoEV electric car for all its types. The price now ranges from Rp 301 million to Rp 345 million.

However, the Air ev and Cloud EV received some changes, and their price tags changed slightly. The newest version was launched at the IIMS 2025 automotive exhibition, with prices starting from Rp 184 million to Rp 404 million.

In full, here we summarize the list of electric car prices in Indonesia as of March 2025. The figures listed are on-the-road Jakarta prices, but are subject to change depending on each company's policy.
