Check Out the Features of the New Mitsubishi Xpander 2025 Exceed Tourer Variant

KatadataOTO – The new Mitsubishi Xpander was officially launched some time ago. This LMPV comes with a number of updates that enhance comfort.

As a family car, the Xpander is equipped with a masculine appearance and a tough impression. Overall, the vehicle features a stylish and elegant design.

The updates include cosmetic changes such as the grille, aero blade skirt, headlight and fog design, alloy wheel design, and door handle.

Inside the cabin, there are several new touches. The development focus is on providing comfort for every family.

For example, on the Exceed CVT and MT variants, you can now enjoy the keyless operation system feature. There is also an engine push start system on these trim levels.

Then, general changes can be seen in the new 10-inch SDA (Smartphone Link Display Audio), new 8-inch MID, new color soft pad on the door trim, and soft-touch stitching.

Meanwhile, to improve the car's handling, the AYC (Active Yaw Control) system has been embedded. This technology was previously featured on the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross.

"We developed the Exceed Tourer variant specifically for the entry-level segment of this MPV class. So, we are indeed looking at this based on surveys," said Guntur Harling, General Manager of Product Strategy Division at PT MMKSI (Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia) some time ago.

AYC helps the driver to control the vehicle more easily, especially when traversing the diverse road conditions in Indonesia.

It works by relying on a combination of sensors, allowing it to regulate ABS performance, throttle opening, and engine speed.

In terms of safety, the New Mitsubishi Xpander 2025 is already equipped with 6 airbags. This certainly adds peace of mind during travel.

In addition to the new features, the Xpander itself is already embedded with a number of safety technologies including the RISE body structure, ABS, EBD with Brake Assist, HSA (Hill Start Assist), ASC (Active Stability Control), and ESS (Emergency Stop Signal).

"We made several specification improvements while still maintaining a competitive selling price. Therefore, we hope this Exceed Tourer variant will be well-received by Mitsubishi consumers," explained Guntur.
