KatadataOTO – The Japanese automotive brand, Nissan recorded poor results throughout November 2025. The manufacturer, which is under the Indomobil Group, only delivered 31 vehicle units to consumers.

Whereas in October, Nissan's retail sales (distribution from dealers to consumers) were at 41 units.

Nissan Sales in retail reached its lowest point in November 2025. Meanwhile, wholesales, or shipments from the factory to dealers, were only 17 units.

Previously, Nissan's sales had reached 163 units in March 2025. However, after that, the figures stagnated below 100 units.

The presence of new products like the Nissan X-Trail e-Power seems to have not significantly helped boost their domestic sales.

On the other hand, the Low Multi-Purpose Vehicle (LMPV) Nissan Livina is fading. In October and November 2025, this model was not distributed to dealers.

It should be noted that the Nissan Livina uses the same base as the Mitsubishi Xpander.

However, the Mitsubishi Xpander is available in the more varied Xpander Cross option, making it one of the main contributors to the sales of PT Mitsubishi Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI).

Then, Nissan also has a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) competitor to the Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota Fortuner, namely the Terra.

However, its wholesales in November were recorded at only five units, the same as in October. Overall, in the January-November period, only 53 units of the Nissan Terra were distributed to dealers.

That figure is in stark contrast to the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, which recorded wholesales of 7,008 units, while the Toyota Fortuner had 12,168 units.

The competition is indeed getting tougher with the arrival of many newcomers. From Toyota, for example, there is the Veloz Hybrid MPV which was just launched at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week or GJAW 2025.
