KatadataOTO – Premium car brand BMW recorded satisfactory sales results throughout 2025. On a retail basis (distribution from dealers to consumers), the figure was 2,450 units.

This does not include Mini, which is sold under the BMW Group umbrella, at 506 units. The total sales for both are 2,956 units.

Processed from Gaikindo data, BMW leads the segment, outperforming several other premium car brands such as Lexus (1,523 units) and Mercedes-Benz (1,277 units) in the same period.

“BMW Group, together with BMW and Mini, accounts for 60 percent of the premium segment,” said Peter Medalla, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia in Jakarta, on Friday (23/01).

"This is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to the future,” said Peter.

“We must realize that the success at BMW Astra is also due to the support from BMW Indonesia,” said Teguh Widodo, Operation Manager of BMW Astra, when met on the same occasion.

According to Teguh, in the January-December 2025 period, BMW Astra contributed sales of 956 units
