KatadataOTO – BMW Astra Mampang officially opened on January 23, 2026. This outlet is expected to reach more premium segment consumers in the South Jakarta area.

A representative from BMW Indonesia revealed that the presence of the new dealership with the Retail.Next concept was an important decision in 2026.

“This year is very important for us. It's not just about the 110-year milestone, but in Indonesia, BMW is actually celebrating 25 years of operation,” said Peter Medalla, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia in Jakarta, Friday (23/01).

BMW Astra Mampang becomes the ninth facility nationally under the Astra umbrella.

In total, Peter revealed there are 31 BMW and Mini outlets as a form of their long-term commitment in Indonesia.

This official outlet is built on a 4,050 m2 plot of land, with a building area of 2,541 m2 and an investment of IDR 185 billion.

The BMW dealership Astra Mampang serves purchases, information related to the BMW product line, and after-sales services supported by eight workshop stalls and three electric car charging units.

There is also a special room for handing over newly purchased vehicles to customers, located on the side of the dealership.

“Of course, for after-sales, we are also supported by a team of technicians who meet BMW standards,” said Sanfrantis Tanu, Chief Executive of BMW Astra on the same occasion.

But its main uniqueness is the design concept it carries. According to Sanfrantis, BMW Astra Mampang was designed with sustainability in mind.

He explained that the facade system on the dealership's building materials can reduce solar radiation by up to 78 percent, resulting in a 29 percent saving in air conditioner usage.

“The electricity we use also utilizes renewable energy, sourced from geothermal at the Cirata Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA),” Sanfrantis affirmed.

The workshop is open Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00 WIB, Saturday 08:00-12:00, and closed on Sunday.
