KatadataOTO – Chery J6T has been officially introduced to the Indonesian market. This Electric Vehicle (EV) has a fresher look than its predecessor.

This is thanks to a number of changes made to the Chery J6T. From both the exterior and interior.

"J6T presents a difference through every detail of its design, technology, and functionality," said Budi Darmawan, Vice Country Director of Chery Sales Indonesia in Bogor some time ago.

Chery J6T Specifications

The first thing that catches the eye is the thick over-fender running from front to back. It adds a tough impression to the Chery electric vehicle.

A new front bumper has also been added. Paired with a glossy front dual guard.

The Chery J6T's fascia is also fresher after the removal of the large 'i' logo. It has been replaced by the Chery emblem on the grille.

The front camera placement has also been revised. It is now embedded in the center of the grille as well.

Not to mention new designs for the front aero vent, hood shapes, fog lamps, and a larger cargo box.

The electric car, the Chery J6T, looks even tougher. Because it now features 19-inch wheels wrapped in 245/55 tires.

This has resulted in the Chinese EV having a higher ground clearance of 225 mm.

It is claimed that owners can take the electric four-wheeler anywhere, including off-road terrain.

The Chery J6T platform is claimed to be 30 percent stronger. Its weight is also 30 percent lighter.

Moving to the interior, Chery has paid attention to several details. For example, the curves and AC vents have a new design.

The armrest box can now be opened from both sides. Unlike the old version which only opened to the left.

The Chinese brand has added different stitching to the headrest. Creating a fresher feel in the Chery J6T's cabin.

CSI has also provided a large center screen powered by a Snapdragon chip. It is claimed to minimize lag.
