Chery QQ3 Officially Introduced, Ready for Sale by Year-End

KatadataOTO – Chery QQ is reborn as an electric vehicle at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show. The model was officially introduced as the QQ3 and is planned to be launched later this year.

Looking back, the Chery QQ was actually launched in 2003 and targeted the first-time buyer segment. The car was then continuously developed until its production was discontinued in 2014.

However, in April 2025, the Chinese manufacturer reintroduced the Chery QQ concept car at the Shanghai Auto Show. Development has continued, and the company has now decided to sell it at the end of the year.

Chery QQ3 comes with a rather rounded design. This is evident from the minimal sharp aerodynamic lines, which creates a more elegant impression.

At the front, the Chery QQ3 is equipped with oval headlights integrated with horizontal daytime running lights. This combination makes its front appearance more modern.

Moving to the rear, Chery maintains its rounded concept by featuring oval-shaped lights.

Inside the cabin, the car features a fairly modern look. The ambiance is quite bright thanks to the combination of white and black colors.

On the dashboard, there is a 15.6-inch high-resolution screen that can be used to activate several features in the vehicle. Chery has also equipped it with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and supports an AI voice assistant.

Additionally, there are features to connect the car to a smartphone via CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink. Furthermore, the QQ3 also has 256-color ambient lighting and a 50W wireless charger.

As for its capacity, the Chery QQ3 can accommodate five adults at once.

This car is equipped with an electric motor producing 90 kW  or about 121 hp. Unfortunately, Chery has not yet officially announced the battery capacity and vehicle range, even though this information is very important for potential customers.

The company has also not announced the price they will offer to the public. However, it is hoped that the price tag will be quite competitive, making it easier for customers to make a purchase.
