Chery Tiggo 8 CSH Gets New Variant, Prices Start From Rp 439.9 Million

KatadataOTO – PT Chery Sales Indonesia has launched two new variants for the Tiggo 8 CSH. Their presence makes it easier for customers to adjust to their needs.

The two variants are the Comfort and AWD types, each with its own advantages.

“We heard that customers wanted an AWD drive option and a more affordable variant. Chery is responding to this so that PHEV technology can be enjoyed more widely by the public,” said Budi Darmawan, Vice Country Director of CSI.

The Tiggo 8 CSH Comfort is now the most affordable option available to customers. This car has had some features adjusted, allowing for a more affordable price.

“The Comfort variant does not have a Panoramic Roof, Power Back Door, Memory Seat, and the number of speakers has been reduced. But the safety features and performance are still exactly the same as the Premium,” he added.

Nevertheless, several comfort features are still installed in this car. Such as dual-zone Automatic A/C and a smart voice assistant that allows for more intuitive interaction during the journey.

The car is also equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a 540° HD Panoramic View camera. So customers can still enjoy comprehensive safety features.

Meanwhile, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH AWD comes with a superior drive system compared to the previous type. This is because the car is equipped with three electric motors on the front and rear wheels.

This powertrain is capable of producing 363 kW of power with a total system torque of 640 Nm.

The electric motor complements the performance of the 1,500 cc Turbo Acteco H4J15 engine, which can produce 143 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. Power is channeled to the wheels through a DHT Super Electric Hybrid transmission.

This combination produces optimal performance. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 6.8 seconds.

Besides offering optimal performance, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH AWD is also equipped with safety and comfort features. One of them is the Queen Seat, complete with a massage function in the front passenger seat.

For added comfort, the car is equipped with ventilated seats in the first and second rows. The spacious and elegant impression in the cabin is further emphasized by the Electric Panoramic Sunroof, creating a premium atmosphere.
