KatadataOTO – The mystery of the new car from Wuling to be exhibited at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 is slowly being answered.

A salesperson has leaked the name of the new product from this Chinese manufacturer.

"The newest Wuling Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) is called Wuling Darion. God willing, it will be at GIIAS 2025," he told KatadataOTO on Tuesday (22/07).

Meanwhile, another salesperson said something similar, revealing that the new product is the Wuling Cortez Darion EV.

"Yes (a new variant of the Cortez), Cortez Darion EV," he confirmed.

Wuling is indeed rumored to be marketing a new car for visitors to GIIAS 2025 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

The four-wheeled vehicle was even caught on camera driving on the Cipali Toll Road.

This was known from a post on the Instagram account @andreassatria_11. It shows an MPV wrapped in camouflage.

If observed in detail, the car looks like the Wuling Xingguang 730 or named Wuling Cortez Darion Ev for the Indonesian market.

This can be seen from its boxy body shape. Then there is a rear light that stretches from left to right, equipped with a taillight.

Moving to the side, the suspected Wuling Cortez Darion EV is also equipped with sliding doors.

Meanwhile, at the front, the main headlights are made slightly narrow and are connected to a minimalist grille.

Unfortunately, the details of the new Wuling car cannot be seen perfectly because it is covered in camouflage.

However, the signal of the Wuling Cortez Darion Ev's arrival had already been mentioned by Ricky Christian, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors.

He said that they are preparing an electric MPV capable of carrying seven passengers.
