KatadataOTO – The special price for the Daihatsu Rocky at GIIAS 2025 has officially ended. The manufacturer now prices it at Rp 299.850 million, up from the previous Rp 293.9 million, an increase of Rp 5.950 million.

This price is certainly still quite attractive as Daihatsu is keeping the price of the Rocky Hybrid under Rp 300 million. Even after this increase, the car is still cheaper than the Chery Tiggo Cross CSH, which is priced at Rp 319.8 million.

“The price is now Rp 299.850 million, and reportedly, there will be another price increase soon. The amount has not been announced, but it is likely to be around Rp 4 to 5 million,” explained one of the salespeople to KatadataOTO.

He also revealed that if you order now, the new car will be delivered in January 2025.

It should be noted that the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid was launched in Indonesia at GIIAS 2025. The model's appearance is quite similar to the standard version but has been enhanced with a honeycomb grille and an e-Smart Hybrid emblem as a differentiator.

Inside the cabin, passengers will be treated to a 10-inch display screen. The driver is also pampered with a 7-inch Digital Meter Combination that displays various important information about the vehicle.

However, the key differentiator is the inclusion of the e-Smart Hybrid System. Thanks to this, the car is powered by an electric motor, while the gasoline engine functions only as a generator to charge the battery.

The Rocky Hybrid uses a 1,200 cc WA-VEX gasoline engine integrated with a 0.76 kWh hybrid battery. This power is then channeled to an electric motor capable of delivering a maximum power of 104 hp and a maximum torque of 170 Nm.

This combination allows the car to accelerate to 100 km per hour from a standstill in just 10 seconds. Although its performance is impressive, fuel consumption is claimed to be optimal, requiring only 1 liter of gasoline to travel 28 km.

For a more comfortable driving experience, the manufacturer has installed the Smart Pedal feature, making it easier for the driver to control the speed.
