KatadataOTO – Hozon Auto, the parent company of Neta, is known to be undergoing a restructuring process in its home country, China.

Since then, Neta's business in the Indonesian market seems to have been affected. This is evident from the closure of several official dealerships.

In an official statement, Neta revealed that consumers can now have their vehicles serviced at outlets that provide after-sales services.

First are the Otoklix outlets, spread across various cities in Indonesia. Then there is Anima Mobil, located in Poris Plawad Indah, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City.

Neta is committed to expanding its after-sales outlet network, ensuring sufficient spare parts stock, and honoring the applicable warranty policies.

A Neta representative revealed that they are currently focused on providing after-sales services according to consumer demand.

“As for sales, there are no new models available for the current units,” said Irvan Mustafa, Head of Marketing at PT Neta Auto Indonesia to KatadataOTO, on Thursday (22/01).

It seems Neta will not be offering new products yet. Their current portfolio still consists of two models, namely Neta V-II and Neta X.

Besides the Otoklix and Anima Mobil outlets, consumers can also get routine servicing or use their warranty at the Neta Arista dealership.

“As stated in Neta's announcement, the Arista workshop used to be a Neta dealership. However, routine servicing at that dealership does incur a fee,” Irvan emphasized.

According to Irvan, consumers prefer to have routine servicing without additional costs. Therefore, they will focus on expanding after-sales outlets in various regions.

Speaking of sales, Irvan said that dealer branches still have some stock of the Neta V-II and Neta X available if consumers are interested.

“Indeed, the old dealerships that were once 3S dealers still have some stock. We can provide Neta X and Neta V units,” he affirmed.

For your information, both Neta electric cars are already locally assembled. The Neta V-II is sold for IDR 299 million, while the Neta X is offered for IDR 428 million on the road in Jakarta.
