KatadataOTO – The launch of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH received a warm welcome from various parties. The presence of this product is seen as adding more choices for the public.
Especially for those who want to switch from conventional vehicles, but are not yet willing to use electric cars because of concerns about driving range.
“For people who are still hesitant about the reliability of electric vehicles due to limited range, they can now buy a plug-in hybrid car,” said Faisol Riza, Deputy Minister of Industry, in Jakarta some time ago.
According to Faisol, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH, which features PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) technology, can meet the needs of the public.
Especially for those of you who use the car for various activities. From daily mobility to out-of-town trips.
“In reality, this car can cover a distance of about 1,300 km. If we are all worried about having to charge the battery on a trip from Jakarta to Surabaya, then with a plug-in hybrid, that is not necessary,” Faisol continued.
Therefore, Faisol hopes the presence of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH can encourage the public to use environmentally friendly four-wheeled vehicles.
For your information, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH is equipped with a 1,500 cc turbo engine producing 141 hp and 215 Nm of torque.
However, when paired with an electric motor, it can produce a combined power of 201 hp and a peak torque of 310 Nm.
On the other hand, it is also equipped with plug-in hybrid technology with an integration of Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), Dedicated Hybrid Engine (DHE), and Dedicated Hybrid Battery (DHB).
The three components produce an optimal level of efficiency without sacrificing the vehicle's comfort and performance aspects.
This is claimed to make the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH an ideal choice for people who want to own an environmentally friendly vehicle. Because as a PHEV car, the Tiggo 8 CSH does not rely entirely on electrical energy.
Just a reminder, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH is now available for order. It will then be delivered directly to the buyers' homes.
If you are interested, the price of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH is Rp 499 million for the first 1,000 buyers, while the normal price is Rp 519 million OTR (On The Road) DKI Jakarta.
