KatadataOTO – DFSK and Seres successfully recorded hundreds of orders throughout the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025. Their presence at the annual event has successfully become an alternative for electric car customers in the country.
It's not surprising that all the models they brought are claimed to have received a positive response from the public.
“Our participation in the PEVS 2025 event is an important opportunity to showcase our products and contribute to the growth of the electric vehicle market,” said Cing Hok Rifin, Director of Sales Center at PT Sokonindo Automobile.
During the exhibition, DFSK and Seres recorded 782 orders, which came from three models: Seres 3, Seres E1, and DFSK Gelora E.
Of that total, the Gelora E remains the most sought-after model with 325 units ordered. This was followed by the Seres 3 with 305 units and the E1 with 152 units.
Launching a New Product
At the PEVS 2025 event, Seres Indonesia was quite aggressive in offering its products. Especially since they launched their newest product, the Seres 3, which enters the SUV segment.
The electric car comes with an attractive and sporty design to attract customer interest. This is evident from the several aerodynamic lines etched on the side of the vehicle.
Inside the cabin, the color black dominates, giving it a sportier impression. Not only that, the manufacturer has also installed a 10.25-inch touchscreen head unit to indulge the driver.
The Seres 3 is equipped with a 54 kWh capacity battery and can travel a distance of 412 km on a full charge. This power is then channeled to drive an electric motor with 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque.
Thanks to this, the car can accelerate to 100 km per hour in 8.5 seconds from a standstill. Meanwhile, its maximum speed is 165 km per hour.
To make charging easier for customers, the Seres 3 is equipped with a fast-charging feature. Charging from 20 percent to 80 percent can be achieved in 40 minutes.
To make it easier for the driver to control the vehicle, several modern features have been installed. Ranging from auto-hold, cruise control, hill start assist to brake assist.
The Seres 3 is sold at prices starting from Rp 370 million to Rp 398 million.
