The Huawei Aito M9 is reportedly entering Indonesia soon, as its design patent has already been registered on the DJKI website.
KatadataOTO – The electric car Huawei Aito M9 was brought to Indonesia by Seres, a sub-brand of DFSK. The model could be seen by the general public during the GIIAS 2024 event.
Different from the electric car products already offered by DFSK and Seres, the Huawei Aito M9 is a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with an elegant style and a strong sense of luxury.
The eccentric two-tone color option, plus gold accents on several parts, makes the Huawei Aito M9's appearance even more unique.
There is no official information yet regarding the launch time of the Huawei Aito M9 in the country, but the manufacturer has already registered the car's design patent on the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) website.
Based on KatadataOTO's search, the car suspected to be the Aito M9 was registered with application number A00202405895.
The applicant's name is Huawei Technologies, located in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, with an announcement date of November 5, 2025.
The car's silhouette strongly resembles the Huawei Aito M9 with a minimalist look and a two-tone color scheme. The narrow but blunt-angled headlight design is one of its hallmarks.
In its home country, the Huawei Aito M9 is available in Electric Vehicle (EV) or pure electric and Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) types.
In terms of size, the Huawei Aito M9 has large dimensions with a length of 5,230 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, a height of 1,800 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.
Its cabin is spacious and is said to accommodate up to six passengers. Meanwhile, its luggage capacity ranges from 316 liters to 1,252 liters.
Regarding the powertrain, the pure electric variant of the Huawei Aito M9 is equipped with a large 100 kWh capacity battery. This allows the Aito M9 to produce 523 hp and a peak torque of 673 Nm.
On a single charge, the Aito M9 can travel 605 km-630 km. Its top speed is 200 km/h.
The capable performance of the Huawei Aito M9 is also demonstrated by its acceleration capabilities. It is claimed that a speed of 0-100 km/h can be reached in just 4.7 seconds.
If it enters Indonesia, the Huawei Aito M9 will be an attractive option in the 6-seater electric SUV segment, which does not have many competitors yet.
