KatadataOTO – As the year-end approaches, there are a number of electric car options to consider if you are looking for a new vehicle.
Overall, electric car prices in Indonesia as of December 2025 remain relatively stable.
However, the BYD Atto 1, which was previously offered at around Rp 195 million on the road in Jakarta, has now increased by Rp 4 million to Rp 199 million for several reasons.
This figure applies to the lowest trim level. Meanwhile, the price of the Atto 1's highest trim level has not changed, remaining at Rp 235 million.

The price increase is not without reason. According to BYD, the demand for the Atto 1 is quite high.
Therefore, additional investment is needed to improve services, distribution, and logistics.
Then there is a newcomer at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week or GJAW 2025, namely Changan. This brand from China brings the Lumin, one of the cheapest electric cars in Indonesia.
The title of the cheapest electric car was previously held by the Wuling Air ev before it was passed to the Atto 1.
