KatadataOTO – The selection of electric cars in Indonesia is currently diverse with the rise of new products from Chinese manufacturers. The prices offered are also increasingly competitive.

Not only that, this year electric cars still receive assistance in the form of tax incentives from the government. This is expected to make the price of EVs (electric vehicles) more affordable.

Compared to February 2025, only a few models have experienced a price increase.

Based on KatadataOTO's search on Tuesday (08/04), the price of the BYD Seal has increased for both of its types: the Premium Extended Range and Performance AWD (all wheel drive).

Meanwhile, BYD's new product that debuted at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025, the Sealion 7, is still offered at the same price as last month.

Other newcomers like the Geely EX5 have not been observed to raise their vehicle's selling price. It's still in the range of Rp 400 million to Rp 500 million.

While Aion adjusted the prices of several models last month, as of April 2025, the figures remain the same with no increase. The same goes for MG and BMW, which also adjusted their prices last month.

BYD's premium sub-brand, Denza, is currently offering one model to compete with the Toyota Alphard, the Denza D9. Its price is kept below Rp 1 billion, specifically around Rp 950 million on the road in Jakarta.

For a more complete list, KatadataOTO has summarized the list of electric car prices as of April 2025 on the road in Jakarta. As a note, prices may change at any time according to each manufacturer's policy.
