Estimated Price Range for the Honda HR-V Hybrid, Allegedly Launching June 2025

KatadataOTO – PT HPM (Honda Prospect Motor) still has two new hybrid car models to offer consumers in 2025. Recently, the Civic e:HEV was launched without a special ceremony.

Honda is rumored to be launching its next hybrid model soon, specifically on June 10, 2025. 

In the invitation received by KatadataOTO, PT HPM did not specify the model. However, it confirmed that the new Honda car will be equipped with hybrid technology.

“Honda is proud to introduce the latest generation of a hybrid car that is widely known for its iconic design,” read the invitation, quoted on Wednesday (21/05).

Another model rumored to join the HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) lineup in the country is the HR-V e:HEV or HR-V Hybrid.

Strengthening this assumption, the NJKB (Motor Vehicle Sales Value) of the Honda HR-V e:HEV is believed to be already registered in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 7 of 2025.

Two model variants strongly believed to be the HR-V hybrid are listed there, namely the RV58 CVT ZZ and the RV58 RS CVT ZZ.

The NJKB for the RV58 CVT ZZ is around IDR 328 million. While the higher-end type, the RV58 RS CVT ZZ, is around IDR 372 million.

For comparison, the current NJKB for the HR-V S CVT in the country is around IDR 301 million, with a price tag of IDR 392.1 million OTR (On The Road) Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the Turbo RS variant has an NJKB of around IDR 403 million with a selling price of IDR 551.4 million.

Using this calculation assumption, the price of the HR-V Hybrid is likely to be around IDR 100 million higher than the NJKB listed in the Permendagri, which is around IDR 428 million to over IDR 572 million.

Previously, Honda had also confirmed that the price of the Honda HR-V Hybrid will certainly be below the CR-V e:HEV.

“It will definitely be value for money. Not that expensive (like the CR-V e:HEV), we'll see later,” said Yusak Billy, Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM, when met in Sunter some time ago.

For your information, Honda has already marketed several hybrid models in the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) and sedan classes. Among them are the CR-V e:HEV, Accord e:HEV, and Civic RS e:HEV.

The Honda HR-V Hybrid will join the lineup of environmentally friendly 5-seater SUVs, which includes the GWM Haval Jolion HEV and the Grand Vitara Hybrid.
