GAC Indonesia has also started distributing the Electric Vehicle (EV) to customers.

"We are grateful for the support and patience of our customers since the launch of the AION UT," said Andry Ciu, CEO of GAC Indonesia in PIK, North Jakarta today, Thursday (30/10).

Andry stated that this moment is quite important for them. Because it serves as proof of GAC Indonesia's commitment to distributing its electric cars.

He further stated that the AION UTs being delivered this time are for customers who placed their orders at GIIAS 2025.

Then, subsequent deliveries will continue at all GAC Indonesia dealerships in the country.

"Today we are fulfilling our commitment to start delivering the first batch of AION UT in October 2025," he continued.

For your information, the AION UT delivered to customers is in Completely Knocked Down (CKD) status.

So it has been produced at the National Assemblers factory, located in Purwakarta, West Java.

In addition, there are several changes made by the brand from China. Such as the inclusion of the Android Auto feature in the head unit.

Then, a space-saver spare tire has been included. So consumers can feel safer during their journey.

As a reminder, the AION UT sold in Indonesia is offered in two variants. Ranging from standard to premium.

The AION UT Standard type is equipped with a 44.1 kWh capacity battery. It is claimed to be able to travel up to 400 km on a single charge.

Meanwhile, its electric motor can produce 134 hp of power and 145 Nm of torque.

The Premium type has a larger battery of 60 kWh, enough to cover a distance of up to 500 km.

Its electric motor has more impressive performance, as it can deliver 201 hp of power and 210 Nm of torque.

The AION UT Premium has also been equipped with wireless charging for smart devices during the journey.

If you are interested, the price of the AION UT Standard is only Rp 325 million. While the premium type is priced at Rp 363 million On The Road (OTR) Jakarta.

With the figures above, the AION UT is claimed to be suitable for young people in urban areas.
