KatadataOTO – Geely EX5 is confirmed to launch at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. This model has actually been introduced by the Chinese company, but its price has not yet been officially announced.

The presence of this model is believed to meet the driving needs of the public, who are now increasingly open to Chinese cars.

“At IIMS 2025, we will announce the official price of the Geely EX5, which was introduced some time ago,” said Ridho Yunandar, Public Relations for Geely Auto Indonesia (05/04).

In its home country, the Geely EX5 is offered in two types, Prime and Premium, which are differentiated by battery capacity. Thanks to this, customers can adjust it to their individual driving needs.

The Prime type is offered with a 49.52 kWh capacity battery and is capable of traveling up to 345 km. Then, the Premium variant has a larger power storage of 60.22 kWh, making it sufficient for use up to 410 km.

The car is equipped with an electric motor capable of releasing 214 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. To reach a speed of 100 km per hour, it only takes 6.9 seconds from a standstill.

The Geely EX5 is also equipped with DC Charging up to 100 kW. Thanks to this, charging from 30 percent to 80 percent only takes 20 minutes.

A number of interesting features have also been installed in the car. Ranging from massage seats, keyless entry and start, to dual-zone climate control.

All these advantages are believed to be sufficient for the Geely EX5 to meet the market challenges in the country.

It should be noted that the Geely EX5 is planned to be produced locally in Indonesia using facilities from Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM). With this, it is hoped that the vehicle's price can be more competitive than if it were fully imported from China.

The manufacturer is also committed to providing some relief for customers who wish to make a purchase. One of these is providing various credit packages to make transactions easier.
