Geely Successfully Secures Two Prestigious International Awards

KatadataOTO – Geely is proving itself to be a manufacturer to be reckoned with. As they have just won two international awards.

First, Geely was recognized by TIME as one of the best companies in the Asia-Pacific region. They ranked 91st.

"TIME evaluates a company based on revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability (ESG) performance," wrote Geely in an official statement on Wednesday (16/04).

Furthermore, the Hangzhou-based brand is known for its customer-focused approach, smart mobility solutions, and high-quality vehicle products.

Then in 2024, Geely managed to set a sales record of 2.17 million units globally, including 414 thousand units for export.

"Geely's global reach now covers more than 80 countries with the support of over 900 sales and service outlets," they continued.

Meanwhile in the Asia-Pacific, Geely is present in 10 countries and continues to expand its network. Such as building factories in Indonesia as well as Vietnam.

This was done to meet the demand for electric cars equipped with various modern features.

On the other hand, this Chinese brand also received the Outstanding Contribution Award from the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).

The award was given on March 28 during an international conference held at the Research Institute.

It should be noted that Geely officially joined the IATF in 2021 and became the first Asian member in 2023.

Furthermore, Geely collaborates with various global partners. For example, Ford, AIAG, and VAD to improve the quality standards of the global automotive industry.

With the various steps above, Geely has contributed to the formation of more than 6,000 international and industry standards.
