GWM Ora 07 Electric Car Name Registered in Gaikindo Data

KatadataOTO – Great Wall Motor or GWM seems to be preparing a new product for Indonesian consumers again. After the Ora 03, the name of the electric car Ora 07 is recorded in Gaikindo data.

The car, categorized as a liftback, made its Southeast Asian debut in Thailand at the end of November 2023. Two variants of the GWM Ora 07 are offered to consumers.

For your information, the GWM Ora 07 is listed in Gaikindo's wholesale data for the January-October 2025 period. 

The GWM Ora 07 has a design language similar to the Ora 03 with rounded headlamps that give a retro impression.

The Ora 07 electric car has attracted a lot of attention because its posture is at a glance identical to the Porsche Panamera sports sedan.

But this is not something new, because a former Porsche designer, Emanuel Derta, was involved in crafting the look of the GWM Ora electric vehicle line.

The GWM Ora 07 can also be an interesting alternative to the Hyundai Ioniq 6 for consumers who like electric-powered sedans with a less aggressive look.

Its L x W x H dimensions are 4,871 mm x 1,862 mm x 1,500 mm with a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. For comparison, it is not much different from the Hyundai Ioniq 6, which is 4,855 mm x 1,880 mm x 1,495 mm with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm.
