Here's the Look of the Wuling BinguoEV, Competition Winner with JICAF

KatadataOTO – Wuling Motors has just held a BinguoEV design competition with the theme Your Art Your Icon, in collaboration with JICAF (Jakarta Illustration and Creative Arts Fair).

Three participants emerged as champions. This was revealed from the announcement made at the IIMS 2025 event.

“What I'm looking for is how the illustrators can make the most of the BinguoEV's surface,” said Sunny Gho, Co-Founder of JICAF on Monday (17/02).

He explained that the participants were required to create a three-dimensional design. It would later be applied to the four sides of the vehicle.

It could even extend to the roof and wheels of the Wuling EV (Electric Vehicle). This can provide a more aesthetic impression.

“Many of the participants have utilized it well. That is an added value for me,” Sunny continued.

In addition, the judging included the unique characteristics of each illustrator. How they were able to display their style or signature well and differently from others.

A similar sentiment was also expressed by Martcellia Liunic, one of the judges in the competition. She revealed that they had a hard time determining the winners.

“Perhaps I looked more at the commercial aesthetic side, Sunny Gho at the technical, and Mr. Arief Sutrisno from the product and brand POV,” said Martcellia.

However, the three judges managed to determine the top three winners in this Wuling BinguoEV design competition.

“Finally, the three of us agreed and selected the 20 shortlisted and the top three,” she affirmed.

The main winner is Mafazi Qisti Sitepu. She is entitled to one unit of the Wuling BinguoEV electric car featuring her own design.

Meanwhile, the second position was won by Sigit Ezra, who received a MacBook Pro M3 as a prize. Then, the third place was filled by Bethania Brigitta, who received an iPad Pro M4 as an appreciation.

For your information, the contestants were gathered through submissions and roadshows in four major cities in the country.

During that period, there were more than 1,000 participants who submitted their works to make the Wuling BinguoEV even more beautiful.

Next, all the artworks that were received had to go through a curation and screening stage to get the best version.

The judges then conducted an assessment by looking at various aspects. This included the visual aesthetics of all participants' works.

That aspect considered the visual harmony created by the participant with the four-wheeled electric vehicle.
