KatadataOTO – Pre-orders for the Honda Step WGN Hybrid are now open at Honda dealers with an attractive booking fee. Customers only need to pay Rp 10 million to get on the waiting list.

The first customers will be given priority to receive the product earlier, so they are not expected to wait too long. Meanwhile, the launch itself will take place at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.

Unfortunately, Honda has not announced the official price of their latest model. The manufacturer only stated that the price will be quite competitive compared to other vehicles in its class.

In general, the Honda Step WGN Hybrid comes with a boxy design. However, its appearance remains attractive as the Japanese manufacturer has added several accents to give it a modern feel.

Honda is confident that the presence of the Step WGN Hybrid can attract customers to make a purchase. This is because they claim the hybrid technology used has proven its reliability.

One of their newest hybrid cars is the HR-V e:HEV, which was launched some time ago. The model is already produced in Indonesia and has a Local Content Level (TKDN) of up to 53 percent.

Honda uses a lithium-ion battery, and its cells are imported from Japan.

In terms of design, the HR-V Hybrid is not much different from the previous version. The shape and dimensions are still the same, with only minor changes such as in the grille area and the blue-accented H emblem.

In all hybrid types, the HR-V is equipped with driving modes that can be used according to the driver's needs.

The Honda HR-V hybrid is equipped with smart entry and one-push ignition, the Honda Sensing safety feature suite, and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.

The HR-V e:HEV is equipped with four airbags, but the RS type has an additional two in the pillar area. Then, the special Ignite Red Metallic color is only available on the RS variant.

Speaking of the powertrain, the HR-V uses a 1,500 cc engine, producing 104 hp and 127 Nm of torque.

The e:HEV type has an additional electric motor that provides an extra 129 hp and a peak torque of 253 Nm.
