KatadataOTO – For the first time, the Indonesian edition of the Hot Wheels Convention Car will debut at the Indonesia Modification and Lifestyle Expo or IMX 2025 this coming October 10-12.

The car model used for this special edition Hot Wheels is the Porsche 911 Carrera RS. At IMX 2025, visitors will be able to see both the 1:1 scale version and the 1:64 diecast in person.

It should be noted that the Hot Wheels Convention Car is considered the 'highest tier' of Hot Wheels diecast, often sought after by collectors.

In the Asia Pacific Hot Wheels Convention Car series, Indonesia is one of the featured countries, alongside Malaysia, the Philippines, and Australia.

"This is very exclusive, always released only for specific countries in limited quantities. It's definitely sought after by global collectors, not just those in Indonesia," said Radithya Pradana, Asst. Brand Manager for the Vehicles & Games Category at Mattel SEA in West Jakarta, on Thursday (21/08).

However, he was still reluctant to reveal how many units of the Indonesian Hot Wheels Convention Car will be released at IMX 2025.

Although it has been introduced at Lippo Mall Puri, the diecast will only be available for purchase by customers during the exhibition at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

On this occasion, Turbo Bastard Wheels, as a domestic wheel manufacturer, is said to be taking part by providing special edition merchandise and wheels at IMX 2025.

"The items are limited, and the collaboration products are also limited," said Andre Mulyadi, Founder of NMAA and IMX Project Director, on the same occasion.

It was further explained that all these products can only be seen in person by consumers during the exhibition period.
