Hot Wheels Prepares Exciting Surprises at IMX 2025

KatadataOTO – The Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo or IMX 2025 will feature a surprise from the diecast brand Hot Wheels.

As a form of collaboration between IMX 2025 and Hot Wheels, an exclusive Hot Wheels Convention Car collection will be presented to visitors during the exhibition.

It should be noted that the Hot Wheels Convention Car line was previously only available in limited quantities at several official collector events in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Australia.

This sets it apart from other Hot Wheels products, as it has a more unique design and packaging, making it a target for collectors. Additionally, its quantity is also limited.

The IMX 2025 organizers emphasized that the collaboration is proof that the event has evolved into an international-scale arena.

“The presence of Hot Wheels and the launch of the Convention Car is a major achievement for the country's creative automotive industry,” said Andre Mulyadi, Project Director of IMX, in an official statement, quoted Monday (04/08).

Hot Wheels will occupy booth A4 at the IMX 2025 event at ICE BSD, Tangerang, this coming October 10-12.

Indonesia is said to be one of five countries in the world to launch a Convention Car edition.

Meanwhile, a representative from Hot Wheels explained how diecast plays an important role in fostering a person's love for the automotive world.

“Many people start their 'automotive dream' by collecting diecast, then develop into true car lovers, and vice versa,” said Rafly Radithya Pradana, Asst. Brand Manager, Vehicles & Games Category, Mattel SEA.

Thus, the partnership between Hot Wheels and IMX 2025 is expected to reach more automotive enthusiasts and provide a new experience during the exhibition.

In addition to the exhibition, interested fans can attend The Official Hot Wheels Collector Convention Dinner, held on October 10, 2025.

At the exclusive event, Dwayne Vance, Product Design Manager for Hot Wheels Global, will also be present to share his experiences in the world of diecast design.

Prospective attendees of this special event will need to prepare Rp 6 million per person to  receive several merchandise items, including the Hot Wheels Convention Car and a Limited Event T-shirt.

Besides the Convention Dinner, there will be other interesting events, including a special auction session for the Hot Wheels Indonesia Convention Car 2025 diecast car, complete with a unique hologram number.
