Daihatsu and Astra Financial are preparing a credit purchase program for GIIAS 2025. Here are the details.
KatadataOTO – The GIIAS 2025 automotive event is expected to be an opportunity for the public to purchase cars. This is because various promos are offered during the exhibition.
On this occasion, Astra Financial and Daihatsu have prepared a program that can make it easier for potential customers to buy cars, especially low-cost green cars (LCGC).
It should be noted that in Indonesia, first-time car buyers dominate four-wheeled vehicle purchases at 60 percent.
This shows that the motorization process in various small cities and regions throughout Indonesia is still developing.
“LCGC cars are a favorite choice for first-time car buyers because of their fuel efficiency, affordable price, and environmental friendliness,” said Ariandana Wantho, Marketing and Sales at Astra Financial in Tangerang recently.
He explained in more detail that the financial industry plays an important role in facilitating first-time car purchases.
Considering that as many as 70 percent of car purchases in the country are made on credit.
“This emphasizes that the role of financial services, especially financing, is very important in accommodating public accessibility to motor vehicles,” said Ariandana.
On the other hand, a Daihatsu representative highlighted that the Japanese brand holds the top position in the LCGC segment, equivalent to 41 percent since its launch, through the Sigra.
Not only that, the availability of an official workshop network is also one of the factors behind the Sigra's popularity in the country.
“The resale value of the Daihatsu Sigra product is also quite good, making it suitable for the Indonesian people who strongly consider this,” said Tri Mulyono, Marketing and Customer Relation Divisions of PT Astra International Tbk Daihatsu Sales Operation on the same occasion.
Therefore, there are several benefits that people can get if they want to buy a Daihatsu Sigra at GIIAS 2025.
Normally, the monthly installment for this model at ACC or TAF is Rp 3.36 million with a 25 percent down payment. However, there is a special promo valid at the exhibition.
“Visitors will get a special interest rate of 4.5 percent for a five-year tenor, so the installment amount is only Rp 3.17 million. This means there is an installment difference of Rp 190 thousand over five years, equivalent to a benefit of saving Rp 11 million,” said Hendra, Marketing and Sales at Astra Financial.
For those of you who are interested, GIIAS 2025 is still ongoing until August 3. Tickets can be purchased online or at the exhibition venue.
