KatadataOTO – The Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate with Diamond Sense (Ultimate DS) has been officially launched since the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2024 event. The presence of this model has successfully become a new choice for people who want a high-tech Compact SUV.

This is because various modern features have been embedded in the vehicle, making the driving experience more enjoyable. Starting from 6 airbags, a Mono Camera, front and rear Radar Sensors, to Ultrasonic Parking Sensors.

In addition, the car is also equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with low speed follow, Automatic High Beam (AHB), Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA),  Auto Headlight, Auto Rain Sensor and Rear Camera.

It should be noted that the ACC on the Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate with Diamond Sense allows the car to drive by itself. So the driver no longer needs to press the gas or brake pedals.

This is because ACC can make it adjust its speed to traffic conditions thanks to the use of lasers and various other sensors. So the car can accelerate and brake automatically, following the rhythm of the vehicle in front.

Not only that, the car will also maintain its speed with the vehicle in front without having to press the gas and brake pedals.

“The flagship feature of the Mitsubishi Xforce DS is the ACC which can be used in low-speed conditions. So it is very useful, especially for Jakarta or other big cities because the traffic conditions are very congested,” said  Guntur Harling, General Manager of Product Strategy Division PT. MMKSI.

Activating it is also quite easy as it only requires a few simple steps. Here are the steps.

  • Move the switch to “SET” on the steering wheel at a speed of around 30 km/h (stop & go), 40-50 km/h (low speed follow) or 80 km/h (high speed follow).
  • Make sure the indicator on the cluster turns green.
  • Follow the car in front until it stops (up to 3 seconds), without operating the brake/gas, the ACC will remain active to follow the unit in front.
