KatadataOTO – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) is rumored to be launching a new product at the Gaikindo Indonesia Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. Although not providing details, several salespeople have already started marketing the unit under the name Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz.
Various features are also believed to be embedded in the model. The South Korean manufacturer has even provided a little information on its official Instagram account.
In the photo, a camera can be seen, believed to be in the front position. Therefore, it is estimated that the car will be equipped with a 360-degree camera.
“The Stargazer Cartenz X already uses Shift by Wire. So, gear changes only need to be done by turning a lever behind the steering wheel,” he added.
It was previously reported that the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz is rumored to be launching at GIIAS 2025. The model has even appeared on several Instagram accounts while being driven around Jakarta.
From the posts, it can be seen that the car will come with a more robust design than before. The headlights are equipped with a DRL that extends from left to right, resembling the letter H, and it features a new bumper shape.
Furthermore, the grille looks similar to the exterior design silhouette of the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz that circulated on Instagram some time ago.
Moving to the rear, the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz features a large H-shaped stop lamp.
Although not specified in detail, the car is planned to be sold at prices ranging from Rp 270 million to Rp 350 million. Orders can already be placed if the customer pays a booking fee of Rp 5 million.
Meanwhile, the units are reportedly going to be received by customers about one month after the launch, or around September 2025.
The presence of the Hyundai Stargazer Cartenz is expected to help the manufacturer increase its sales in the country. Currently, the national automotive market is under pressure, so various developments are needed to attract public interest in purchasing vehicles.
