The latest version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has been officially released in its home country, with the N Line variant now available, adding to the optio
KatadataOTO – Hyundai launched a facelift version of their electric-powered sedan, the Ioniq 6. This time, the sportier N Line variant is also being introduced to consumers.
The electric car Ioniq 6 facelift was introduced at the Seoul Mobility Show, South Korea today. Its posture and dimensions remain the same as the previous model.
A significant change is seen on the fascia. Prioritizing a high-tech concept, the headlamp placement, which was previously on top, has been changed, leaving only the DRLs.
Then, to add an elegant and luxurious impression, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is equipped with a bumper with chromatic garnish.
Supporting the new Pure Flow, Redefined concept, Hyundai has given the electric car's front hood an aerodynamic shark-nose style.
“Under the Pure Flow, Redefined concept that we continue to develop, we have enhanced the quality of every detail to make the Ioniq 6 minimalist and progressive,” said Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center in his official statement, quoted Thursday (03/04).
Meanwhile, the cabin still maintains the Mindful Cocoon concept, prioritizing comfort for both the driver and passengers.
However, the steering wheel design has been updated and the door trim material is designed to give a more luxurious impression.
Meanwhile, the N Line variant comes with a more dashing look, using a black-colored emblem and a dark-toned grille.
The addition of black accents in several areas of the car and the N Line emblem on the fascia are the main differentiators of the Ioniq 6 N Line from the standard variant.
In the near future, specifically in July 2025, Hyundai will introduce its high-performance version, the Ioniq 6 N.
Its sibling, the Ioniq 5, already has a high-performance type that was also introduced in Indonesia. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N debuted at the GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) 2024 event.
For your information, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is still sold in Indonesia along with the Ioniq 5 and Kona Electric. However, it has CBU (Completely Built Up) status, or is fully imported, because its market is said to be limited.
It is not out of the question that PT HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) will bring the latest Ioniq 6 to Indonesia. Considering that Hyundai has plans to introduce a number of new models to consumers in the country.
